A child’s CASA volunteer is very often a source of Joy! A strong bond is created between the child and their CASA volunteer when the CASA travels each month to visit … face-to-face and heart-to-heart … on a consistent and frequent basis. Last year, CASA volunteers traveled 46,010 miles in casework for their children. Your monthly donation of $25 towards CASA travel expenses will contribute to children’s Joy!

Kindness, empathy, concern, and care are top priorities for children who have been abused, then removed from the only home they’ve known, and placed into foster care. CASA volunteers become advocates for these children because they have a desire to not only fight for the children of their cases, but to also surround each child with compassion. Join the Compassion Crusade with your monthly donation of $50 to support CASA volunteers in their court appointed special advocate role.

Effective advocacy impacts a child’s future! The children served by CASA have been traumatized by their experiences that led them to foster care and sometimes even when they are in foster care. CASA for Hunt County achieves its mission by recruiting, developing, and leading highly impactful court-appointed volunteer advocates, helping the children we serve to achieve safe and permanent homes. You can be an ally to the CASA mission with your monthly donation of $75 to help provide consistent, impactful advocacy for children.

Just as it is imperative for children to have a safe and stable home, CASA for Hunt County is obtaining a sizable and stable office location. Within the CASA office, new volunteers are trained; all volunteers are coached about their casework by their staff supervisor; and veteran volunteers are motivated to keep up the good fight. The CASA office is also an essential space for administrative work and stewardship meetings for board members. Help build the CASA for Hunt County permanent space Legacy with your monthly donation of $100!
