Lonny J’s Rockin’ Oldies SOCK HOP benefiting CASA for Hunt County
Lonny J’s Rockin’ Oldies Sock Hop is when Greenville becomes Coolsville. Revisit the days of the greased wig chop, the nest, saddle shoes, bobby socks and poodle skirts with the music and dancing to go along with it. There will be concessions, hoola-hoop contests, costume contest, dance offs and a bitchin time.
So, leave the ankle-biters at home, agitate some gravel, beat feet and get here, it’ll razz your berries. Gonna be as bad as back seat bingo but standing up.
Rockin’ Lonny J will be spinin’ the vinyl for this bash. You’re encouraged to costume up yet not required, everyone is welcome, going to be boss. So daddy-o up, grab your dolly and you’ll be made in the shade.
The word from the bird is that this event will benefit CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Hunt County, helping them meet the needs of our Coolsville kids.
